Rainbow Riot: Pride Dance Party
June 20th 9:00pm - 1:00am ∙ Columbus, OH
Rainbow Riot: Pride Dance Party
You’re tired. You’re activated. You’re carrying something heavy and you haven’t put it down in months.
Put it down for one night. You’ve earned it.
Rainbow Riot is a Pride dance party for everyone who needs somewhere to put their joy, grief, rage, hope, exhaustion, and love.. all at once, in the same room, with people who get it without explanation.
Three queer femme DJs spinning pop and feral house all night. A dance floor built for your whole body. A memorial altar for the queer elders who couldn’t be here. A listening zone. A rainbow photobooth. A community dream board. And a mock protest march that starts on stage and takes over the building.
The first Pride was a riot. We haven’t forgotten and neither should you.
Georg1a · DJ Maneater · DJ Meowski
What’s happening all night:
The Dance Floor — Georg1a, DJ Maneater, and DJ Meowski are spinning pop and house, all night, all queer femme energy. Come to dance. Stay because you can’t stop.
Mock Protest March — It starts on stage during the transition set. You can join or you can watch it move through the building around you. Either way you’ll feel it.
Memorial Altar — Bring a photo of your queer hero, elder, or someone you’ve lost. They’ll be on the altar with everyone else’s. Submit ahead of time or bring it with you. Our ancestors show up when we invite them. Click here to submit your photos.
Listening Zone — Put on the headphones. Hear the voices of queer people across 55 years of resistance.
Rainbow Photobooth — Take it home. Proof you were here. Proof we existed together on this night.
What Are You Building? Board — Write your dream on the community board. Your future. Someone else’s future. Anything you’re building toward.
Important details:
We know Columbus isn’t always the easiest city if you don’t drink. So we built the night we wish existed, fully stocked with delicious themed mocktails and canned beverages, a dance floor that doesn’t need liquid courage, and a room full of people who are already exactly where they want to be. Come thirsty, we’ve got you. 420 friendly as always!
This space is trans-affirming, neurodivergent-friendly, and built for everyone who needs it.

DRESS CODE
Rainbow Riot celebrates queer self-expression in all its forms. Whether your style leans head-to-toe rainbow, ravewear, battle jackets, and protest-inspired fashion, or simply “this feels the most like me,” we encourage you to come dressed to feel bold, authentic, and alive.
We want you to feel safe expressing yourself, experimenting, and taking up space. Hateful symbols, racist imagery, or bigotry of any kind are never welcome.

DRESS CODE
When it comes to attire, anything goes at Wicked Eden, we want you to feel comfortable and in the mood to have an adventure! Wicked Eden is a place where you can wear as much or as little as you desire. We want you to always feel comfortable expressing yourself in whatever ways you desire. We encourage you to go outside your comfort zone with festive, outrageous, or amazing clothing that you never get a chance to wear anywhere else.
VOLUNTEERS
We LOVE volunteers! Join our team of community volunteers, and you will find new friends, a support system and a tight knit center of empowerment. Once you have obtained membership as above, please check out the volunteering section of The Autonomy Project website.
By volunteering with us you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives, but you will also get perks such as discounted or free access to our events and classes, and most importantly, collaborative input in what we do here. Your ideas are important to us, and as a volunteer, we want you to feel like you’re part of our community: one that celebrates who you are and supports your journey.
HIGH POTENTIAL, NO PRESSURES
Our community thrives in a space where countless delightful interactions could happen, but none are obligated to occur. Think of it as “high possibility, low expectations.” Outside of our general requirements of respect, you are under no obligation to interact with anyone in any particular way. This makes our space ideal for new faces and seasoned community members alike.
HIGH POTENTIAL, NO PRESSURES
Our events aren’t the product of one person hosting a party for pay; they’re the result of a community coming together and creating something new. Everyone who attends is expected to co-create: money, time, energy, enthusiasm, work, intention, example, concern and/or awareness. Have ideas, games, art, music to share? Want to bring them to life with us?
A FOUNDATION OF TRUST
Our gatherings are magical because of trust. We fiercely protect each member’s privacy, encourage honest risk communication, and take diligent care of our shared environments. It’s our collective respect and integrity that fortify this safe space.
CLEAR AND PRESENT CONSENT
Upholding consent goes beyond preventing harm; it’s about affirming everyone’s freedom to fully and joyfully agree to their interactions. It’s through this affirmation that our spaces thrive with genuine, unreserved participation.
INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY
We’re committed to inclusivity. Our community is a tapestry of individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and social backgrounds, including all gender identities and expressions. We encourage everyone to engage with empathy and curiosity, always asking rather than assuming someone’s identity or preferences.
Our space is and always will be wheelchair accessible, with multiple spaces for varying sensory needs.
PLEASE NOTE:
No refunds will be given on ticket purchases. Address is provided to confirmed ticket holders after purchase. Wicked Eden is located on the south side of Columbus, approximately 10 minutes from downtown, and is one block away from a COTA bus stop.
