The Business of (spicy) Content Creation

You’ve got the content. Now let’s get your shit together.

There’s more to adult content creation than ring lights and hashtags. Whether you’re brand new to content creation or already making steady income, this class is for anyone who wants to treat their work like the business it is.

We’ll cover the essential tools for success in today’s adult content landscape—from branding, marketing, and platform diversification to legal setup, income tracking, and sustainable growth. You’ll walk away with a clearer strategy, stronger foundation, and real-world knowledge about how to build a business that works for you—whether it’s a side hustle or a full-time empire.

This is your no-BS roadmap to running your spicy business from one of the industry’s most knowledgeable entrepreneurs.

Taught by Alexandra Snow—20-year industry veteran, educator, professional dominatrix, and founder of The Autonomy Project—this class cuts through the noise to give you what truly matters: structure, strategy, and smart business decisions.

We’ll cover:

  • Strategic planning and vision-setting

  • Diversifying your income (because one platform is never enough)

  • Legal and financial foundations: LLCs, taxes, payment processors, and privacy

  • Branding, audience building, and staying relevant in an oversaturated market

  • Mental and emotional resilience in a stigmatized industry

  • Analytics, content strategy, and sustainable growth

This is not a tutorial on lighting setups. This is a real talk masterclass on what it takes to turn your spicy creativity into a long-term business—with your well-being, boundaries, and brilliance intact.

ABOUT THE EDUCATOR

Alexandra Snow is a 20-year veteran of the adult industry, a professional dominatrix, educator, mentor, and activist. She built a six-figure content empire as an independent fetish producer, long before mainstream platforms acknowledged adult creators. Her teaching blends sharp business acumen with radical empathy, covering everything from financial literacy to branding, burnout, and the emotional realities of sex work.

Alexandra is also the executive director of The Autonomy Project, a nonprofit organization serving LGBTQIA+, GSRM, and sex worker communities through education, advocacy, and mutual aid. A trafficking survivor herself, she uses her lived experience to fight for systemic change, build safer spaces, and champion marginalized voices. The Autonomy Project was born out of her own lived experience as a trafficking survivor and her refusal to let systems of oppression silence or define her. She is the subject of the documentary A Wicked Eden, and her work sits at the intersection of erotic labor, social justice, and sustainable empowerment.

As an educator, Alexandra teaches classes on content strategy, consent, kink, boundaries, business systems, and community building. Her teaching combines sharp strategy with deep emotional intelligence, offering both practical tools and radical validation for those navigating stigmatized spaces.

WHO’S THIS EVENT FOR?

This class is for adult content creators of all kinds—whether you’re filming in your bedroom, running a full-fledged studio, or balancing a spicy side hustle alongside a day job. It’s built for online sex workers, full-service workers expanding into digital spaces, cam models, dominants, fetish artists, findoms, fansite creators, and anyone monetizing their erotic labor or persona. Whether you’ve just started uploading your first clips or you’re already earning steady income and want to grow strategically, you’ll find tools here that meet you where you are.

It’s for the neurospicy, the marginalized, the scrappy survivors and fierce entrepreneurs, the creators juggling 12 tabs and a custom request backlog. It’s for those who want to stop operating in chaos and start building something sustainable—on their terms. You don’t need to have it all figured out; you just need to be ready to invest in your future with structure, strategy, and support. If you’re tired of reinventing the wheel alone and want to build a business that honors your boundaries, your identity, and your brilliance—this is for you.

WHO THIS IS NOT FOR

This class is not for folks looking for quick money with minimal effort, or those expecting camera tips, editing tutorials, or content ideas spoon-fed to them. It’s not for people who aren’t ready to think long-term, do the backend work, or take accountability for their business. If you’re unwilling to treat your content creation with professionalism, strategy, and consistency, or if you’re uncomfortable with discussions around sex work, stigma, or financial structure, this probably isn’t your class.

This class also isn’t for people looking to exploit others or manage someone else’s labor for profit. If you’re here to learn how to “run” your partner’s account, take a cut of someone else’s content, or act as a behind-the-scenes manager without their full agency, fair contracts, and consent: you’re in the wrong place. We’re here for real empowerment, not shortcuts built on someone else’s back.

Your ideas are important to us, and as a volunteer, we want you to feel like you’re part of our community: one that celebrates who you are and supports your journey.

HIGH POTENTIAL, NO PRESSURES

Our community thrives in a space where countless delightful interactions could happen, but none are obligated to occur. Think of it as “high possibility, low expectations.” Outside of our general requirements of respect, you are under no obligation to interact with anyone in any particular way. This makes our space ideal for new faces and seasoned community members alike.

HIGH POTENTIAL, NO PRESSURES

Our events aren’t the product of one person hosting a party for pay; they’re the result of a community coming together and creating something new. Everyone who attends is expected to co-create: money, time, energy, enthusiasm, work, intention, example, concern and/or awareness. Have ideas, games, art, music to share? Want to bring them to life with us?

A FOUNDATION OF TRUST

Our gatherings are magical because of trust. We fiercely protect each member’s privacy, encourage honest risk communication, and take diligent care of our shared environments. It’s our collective respect and integrity that fortify this safe space.

CLEAR AND PRESENT CONSENT

Upholding consent goes beyond preventing harm; it’s about affirming everyone’s freedom to fully and joyfully agree to their interactions. It’s through this affirmation that our spaces thrive with genuine, unreserved participation.

INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY

We’re committed to inclusivity. Our community is a tapestry of individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and social backgrounds, including all gender identities and expressions. We encourage everyone to engage with empathy and curiosity, always asking rather than assuming someone’s identity or preferences.

Our space is and always will be wheelchair accessible, with multiple spaces for varying sensory needs.

PLEASE NOTE:

No refunds will be given on ticket purchases. Address is provided to confirmed ticket holders after purchase. Wicked Eden is located on the south side of Columbus, approximately 10 minutes from downtown, and is one block away from a COTA bus stop.
